The first play in a decade from one of Canada's most acclaimed playwrights, George F. Walker's And So it Goes is a black comedy for the troubled economic landscape of our time.

Ned and Gwen are a middle-class couple being hit hard by both the current recession and their daughter's schizophrenia.

After Ned loses his job, his downwardly mobile spiral takes him from financial analyst to pastry chef to street-side prophet, bringing Gwen and their marriage along for the ride.

Gwen turns to dead literary legend Kurt Vonnegut for help, and begins to take solace in his unorthodox therapy. This depiction of an upside-down economic and psychological world hits with brutal tragicomic force.

"And So It Goes, [Walker's] first play in more than a decade, is worth the wait." -Now Magazine

"One of our best playwrights has decided to take things to a different, deeper level." -Toronto Star
